The oldest (and first) Sling 2 in Australia undergoing a major service (4200 hours). All this hours was accumulated in different flying schools, and apart from installing a new engine and firewall forward components this aircraft is still in perfect order. A total stripdown and inspection of every major structural parts, as well as inspection of wingroots, main spar etc has been carried out, and assembly has already started.
The aircraft will get a well deserved “ cut and polish”, and we hope to have her flying within 10 days from start of the service.
The Sling 2 is a fantastic training aircraft, extremely strong and can withstand the usual flying school bashing, and this aircraft is a testominy to the quality of these aircraft.
